[ Without his fingers relentlessly stirring her up, she has a moment to breathe - to think. To really let herself realise how beyond irresponsible she's being right now, how reckless, how selfish, and she wants to laugh at herself because, oh, this is all so terribly familiar, isn't it? It was just like this the first time, too impatient for each other, too sick of waiting for them to even move off the sofa and go somewhere more appropriate. But back then, they had a perfectly acceptable excuse. And moreover, nobody cared about her or what she did. Not in the way they do here.
