Really, it should be preferable. She doesn't exactly want to be snarled and sniped at every time he opens his mouth but she'd gotten used to that. She's starting to make tentative steps towards actually understanding it. But now the rules have gone all topsy turvy all of a sudden and she's having to try and make sense of them on the fly. ]
