[ Maybe it makes her horrible to think it, but it's almost a relief when things finally start to collapse. There's no more waiting now, no tension. Getting jumpscared isn't exactly fun but in a lot of ways, it's better than stewing in the agony of anticipating it. There's no anticipation now - just noise, chaos, bloodshed. It's horrible, of course. But it's better than helplessly sitting and waiting for it to happen.
(She very politely does not laugh when it comes to his so called dramatic sacrifice, as it happens. But come on, seriously. As if they'd kill off a main character that quick with such little fanfare.)
