It's a long shot, he's very aware of this. He also has the excuse of still recovering mana and being wary of other Servants... as if Sei fucking Shounagon falls under that category. Hell, he's not sure what category she falls into. Both in terms of their alliance and just in general! Seriously, why is she even an Archer!?
At the very least the bounded field keeps her from just, say, dematerializing and going through the walls to harass him...
But god, fuck, is she stubborn. She just won't stop! She won't leave!! What the hell!? Maybe he could escape out the window? Ugh, he could... normally, that is, but he's still so low on Mana that even he recognizes that it'd be unwise to fly out of the window at mach speed just to get away from her. Y'know, the minimum speed he'd need to escape her, since she'll spot him and give chase otherwise.
